Pre-Synodal Diary: 5 day
“What is your dream? What is your gift? Who would you like to be?
Where do you want to put your talents? What are you afraid of?
What does God want from you?”With these words we began our fifth pre-synodal day. All these questions refer to the art of discernment. How many times we are faced with a crisis because of these questions? Many times … but the Pope told us to “dare tread new paths, even if this entails risks”. And we, young people, notwithstanding the hardships, try to take risks every day. In fact, we have tried to steep the document, which we are drafting, with risks. Even today, our commitment was to contribute, each with his own experience and sensitivity, towards a text which truly speaks to the Bishops and to the Pope about us, young people.
We have full trust in this Synod and in this Church, because we think that this synod can generate an attitude of listening, of discussing and of acting. All young people realize that these could be the needed mechanism to reset the present with a new rhythm, with a new momentum.
